My Father’s fight against cancer
11 years ago my father was diagnose with cancer
No hope was given by the doctor nor the professor.
His lung cancer has reach the final stage where there’s <3% survivor
The doctor gave him only 6 months and can even be sooner

My father did not lose hope and smile when he hear from the doctor
“My life and death belongs to HIM so it does not matter”
“Tell me doctor any treatment to fight this cancer”
“My family still needs me so I have to get better”

Going through treatments one after another
With my mom as his support that give him the power
With prayers and effort, the surgeon remove his cancer
At last he can go on with his life as a model for others

6 years have gone by well spent with his wife, sons and daughters
Leading his normal life enjoying his work with the boat and the anchor
Believing in Almightly God, the greatest of all planner
Persevering His test with a humble and calm manner

The time have come for another test to my father
His right hand weakens when it was supposed to be stronger
A relapse happen and this time both lung and brain cancer
This time he is sad as he was forced to retire

Nevertheless my father is a fighter
Persevering his treatments one after another
When humans are busy of war with each other
He is determine to fight a heavy war with his cancer

5 years have gone by fighting his cancer
With his right side weakens every month, every year
Last Sep, the doctor declared all options were used and there was no other
“I would say in 2 weeks but your father is a fighter”

My father continued to fight with pain relievers
Spending his last moments close with his other
His final advice “Use my example for the future youngster”
“Our life is with our Creator and no Other”

At last his time has come to meet his Creator
His battle has ended, rest in peace my soldier
In the end he died from pneumonia but not from cancer
His story will be remembered from one generation to the other

REST IN PEACE MY FATHER….
